16-19 The Leas, Folkestone CT20 2DU, UK – 01303 253290
It's a budget hotel that tries to add a nice feel to the rooms. Although very basic the room was comfortable and fit for purpose. Breakfast is full English and the view of the sea front from the room is great! Staff are polite and helpful. We used it as a base to explore from! The car park is located behind the hotel.
This hotel offers great value. Staff were friendly and accommodating. While the rooms were dated, the bed was comfy and we got a great night's sleep. Sea view 10/10. Great stop off en route to the channel tunnel.
2-4 Langhorne Gardens, Folkestone CT20 2EA, UK – 01303 251444
Staff are brilliant! Very welcoming and helpful. Got a lovely little bar and a conservatory that you can smoke in, and the bar is open till late. rooms are clean and we have a tv! It's a great place to stop at or spend a night for fun. Will definitely be coming back! Very close to the town too!
Good value for the price. Felt the linen could have been better maintained but nothing revolting. Perfect for a quick overnight stopover before catching the channel tunnel. Really nice touch with the offering of a packed breakfast for people who need to leave early for their onward journey.

Cherry Garden Ln, Folkestone CT19 4AP, UK – 01303 273620
Very reasonable, main meals around average £10... All out meals were well prepared, fresh ingredients. No complaints..
Not at all bad. Busy place on a Sunday. We went without a reservation and were found a table. Staff really friendly, food was good and there's plenty of parking. The longest wait was for the ice cream which was a bit bizarre and a tad frustrating. We will go back.
9 Church St, Folkestone CT20 1SE, UK – 01303 488966
Cozy, friendly pub with a great range of food and generous portions. Attentive service - nothing is too much trouble. They also have a good selection of beers and a 'Catch of the Day' special.
Good Portuguese white wine (house). Baked cod was delicious, moist and served with fresh salad and hot triple cooked chips. Lovely staff too which as a single diner is really important. Can't fault it. Enjoy😁

Old Barn Cottage 1 Peene House Cottages, Peene Cottages, Peene, Folkestone CT18 8BA, UK – 01303 273402
Located just 5 minutes from the Eurotunnel Terminal, Old Barn Cottages is a small friendly B&B. Kay is a lovely host, who has some great recommendations for pubs in the local area. The bedroom is very quiet, and the property itself is an old building with charm. The stairs are a little steep, but easily manageable. We have stayed there twice recently, and enjoy the packed breakfast we are given on departure on LeShuttle to France. Would definitely recommend.
Arpinge, Folkestone CT18 8AQ, UK – 01303 891111
A nice B&B in a historic farmhouse. Good ensuite room and breakfast. Friendly and helpful owner. Local pub for dinner is about a mile away.
If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!
The Warren, Folkestone CT19 6NQ, UK – 01303 255093
We have been here several times as temporary overseas members with a car and a tent during the last years. The road is not really suitable for all vehicles. The view is mostly just great. We had mixed experience with the staff over time. It is always a good idea to book in advance here if you want to stay for a bit. What we really didn't like the last time was the presence of rats on the site. The rabbits in the evening are quite fun however.
super location, lovely staff and a wicked view on the channel
Wear Bay Rd, Folkestone CT19 6PS, UK – 01303 252168
One of the most visually-stunning campsites I have stayed at anywhere in the world. Tucked comfortably into the white cliffs, with an amazing elevated sweep across the English Channel to a tinderbox-view of France at night, Little Switzerland offered a warm welcome to a group of cyclists tired out after a day of Alpine climbs into and out of Dover and on the approach to Folkestone. And the warm hospitality (and cold pint of beer) offered by the site owner on arrival was very welcome, even keeping the bar/restaurant open late so we could eat our dinner indoors before heading to our tents for the night. Much, much appreciated!
I love it here, me and a few lads head down here every so often on our motorbikes and camp for the night, lovely location with a nice pub on top of the cliffs. Tony and Debbie are always very hospitable.
