Polish Food Shop

18 Grace Hill, Folkestone CT20 1HA, UK

Quite short choice and sometimes nothing to buy what you need... but go and check yourself pls .

148 Cheriton Rd, Folkestone CT19 5JS, UK – 01303 251587

I use this supermarket sometimes. It has a large carpark and a wide selection of goods. The checkout staff are always helpful and I can find most items I buy regularly. On thinking about it though it is not a favourite supermarket. I find the entrance difficult because there are various goods on special price and if I look I get people pushing past me who are also entering. Many bargain goods are around the exit route, too late to buy them! Goods at the fresh food counters are not well displayed. I am sure I would buy more if I knew it was there. Also not so good at the friendly service as some places are with the public.

It stocks most things and has a particularly good home baking selection. It has a Deli with the usual Deli stuff and a good selection of fruit and vegetables. Staff are helpful. The shop is clean. There are ride on trolleys for elderly and disabled customers. The car park is big and there are two cash machines.

Holland & Barrett

80 Sandgate Rd, Folkestone CT20 2AA, UK – 01303 243646

Fairly small branch with limited selection of products compared to other, larger branches. Good for basics such as nuts, dried fruit, soya milk, vitamins and supplements etc. Staff are knowledgeable and helpful without being too intrusive.

Could do with a wider range of free from foods, but can't fault the staff.

BigBarn has a totally brilliant map for Kent showing all the local food producers. So if you want to know where your food comes from look no further!
The Kent & Sussex Tea and Coffee Company was established 26 years ago when the Smith family returned from India, where for two generations we had been involved with tea. The website contains information about all the different teas and coffees supplied together with regular updates on new additions to the range.
