Great every time we have visited

Abbeywell Vets

Majestic Parade, Sandgate Rd, Folkestone CT20 2BZ, UK – 01303 227179

Amazing! Our puppy is 8 months old and required surgery to remove both his retained testicles. After asking around local vets for price comparisons, Abbeywell was by far the best! They were very caring, understanding, helpful and professional. My husband and I were kept in the loop the entire time. The surgery was a little more trickier than expected but again, we were kept in the loop by the lovely staff. The aftercare is also brilliant, they're at the end of the phone ready to answer questions and offer advice/appointments. I wouldn't consider going anywhere else with our pets now.. We are so very thankful to everyone at Abbeywell Vets.

My 10 yr old cat recently became suddenly ill and we came to Abbeywell and the receptionists, nurses and the vet (Peter) done a fantastic job of taking care of him. It was touch and go for a while and you could tell that people were working constantly to keep him going, everyone kept us well informed and they knew who we were the whole time. My cat loved Peter and you could tell he (and the other staff) cared for Buster too. I cannot recommend Abbeywell enough!!

Manor Veterinary Clinic

Shearway Business Park, Pent Rd, Folkestone CT19 4RH, UK – 01303 273203

The receptionists and nurses are always friendly and love seeing the animals that everyone brings in. They have a special sectioned off area for people who are bringing their cats in so that they aren't scared of the other animals in the surgery.

Great premises - Modern and quiet as it's away from any town centre. Lots of parking - Especially good for disabled access. All helps to lessen the stress to pets (and socially awkward human owners!) Unlike other local vets with small oversubscribed waiting rooms full of all sorts of animals together in a tiny space, which can be very distressing for animals. Manor Clinic also has a "Cat only waiting area" and a pre-vaccinated puppy only area. Good idea. No problem getting appointments in a time appropriate manner relative to the problem - be it the same day or otherwise. Office staff on the ball and responsive to any kind of paperwork/admin side of things you may have to talk about. Vets and nursing staff from my experience are competient and effectively handle tricky medical situations well and resolve them. Happy to answer any questions. Communication from the whole clinic was very good during any treatment our cat needed.
