Abbeywell Vets

Majestic Parade, Sandgate Rd, Folkestone CT20 2BZ, UK – 01303 227179

Lovely practice and lovely staff. We are visiting the area and our dog Max had a sore paw. The really helpful staff fitted us in to see the vet and then generally fussed the patient making us feel they genuinely cared. Thank you, Max is taking his medicine very well.

Amazing! Our puppy is 8 months old and required surgery to remove both his retained testicles. After asking around local vets for price comparisons, Abbeywell was by far the best! They were very caring, understanding, helpful and professional. My husband and I were kept in the loop the entire time. The surgery was a little more trickier than expected but again, we were kept in the loop by the lovely staff. The aftercare is also brilliant, they're at the end of the phone ready to answer questions and offer advice/appointments. I wouldn't consider going anywhere else with our pets now.. We are so very thankful to everyone at Abbeywell Vets.

Manor Veterinary Clinic

Shearway Business Park, Pent Rd, Folkestone CT19 4RH, UK – 01303 273203

This surgery has a really good car park and very easy to use walk in area with useful information and water bowls for pets.. It's a very impressive building from the outside and the inside is too. I am always greeted in a friendly and professional manner and promptly. Has large windows and plenty of seating areas for clients and their pets, cat and dog areas are separately positioned in the spacious waiting area. There is a toilet for use by clients There are also tables to place your cat's basket on. A very well thought out design. I have every faith in this Veterinary clinic, and have been a client of theirs for 48 years now. That in itself proves that I trust them to do the best job within their capabilities. I am offered a seat and asked to tell the vet my concerns, which he listens carefully to and makes notes of. Then will explain in layman's terms what can be done and what they will offer. If necessary he will draw a picture of what it is or could be going on inside my pet's body, and let me know what could happen if no action is taken. Tony Barnes first impression/diagnosis was indeed right. A good vet's job is to make the client feel as relaxed and confident as possible, as it's about good customer relations as much as the pets welfare. They manage both here. Wouldn't go anywhere else although I've moved further away. They've treated my pet hamsters, gerbils pet rats and now cats and all were treated equally well.

The receptionists and nurses are always friendly and love seeing the animals that everyone brings in. They have a special sectioned off area for people who are bringing their cats in so that they aren't scared of the other animals in the surgery.
